An informative Dermatology Seminar was held by Dr. Suat Günsel University of Kyrenia Hospital Dermatology Specialist Asst. Prof. Pertevniyal Bodamyalızade MD., on 7th April 2018. Asst. Prof.  Bodamyalızade MD., shared information on the cosmetic and therapeutic uses of botulinum toxin (BOTOX®) as well as its effects and side effects during the seminar titled “Everything About BOTOX”.

Bodamyalızade expressed that applying injections in the facial area is an act of art as well as science and stated that it could change the eyebrow shape dramatically especially when applied to the forehead and the procedure should only be carried out by specialists.

Asst. Prof.  Pertevniyal Bodamyalızade MD., also talked about other filling injection options on the face such as non-surgical facelift with strings, chemical peel, mesotherapy, PRP, stem cell therapy, treatment of dark spots, non-surgical eyelid lift and non-surgical nose job besides botulinum toxin (BOTOX®) during the seminar.

Two people among the participants were given BOTOX® applications after a raffle in the seminar which was held both in Turkish and English.
