Near East University Board of Trustees chaired by Prof. Dr. İrfan Suat Günsel decided to extend the free emergency services given at the Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia University Hospital and Near East University Hospital until October 30, 2020.
In order to reduce the burden on public hospitals due to the pandemic, to prevent the public from suffering any health problems, to intervene quickly in serious health problems that may occur and to overcome these difficult days in solidarity, Near East University Hospital and Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia University Hospital emergency services were reported to be given free-of-charge again to the patients.

According to the statement published on the official social media accounts of both hospitals, Near East University Hospital and Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia University Hospital patients can benefit from outpatient services such as doctor examination, laboratory tests, imaging and emergency room observation free-of-charge.
Due to the decision taken by the Board of Trustees of Near East University today, it was reported that the free emergency services were extended until October 30, 2020. In order to prevent any grievances related to the health of the public due to the fire that occurred in the state hospital in February 2020 and the coronavirus cases that started to occur in our country, emergency services provided by Near East University Hospital and Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia University Hospital were carried out free-of-charge.
